Pubic Arch Interference in Prostate Cancer

Pubic arch interference occurs when a prostate cancer patient’s prostate gland is blocked by the growth of the two pubic bones from the point of the perineum. The growth of the two pubic bones forms the pubic arch. In certain prostate cancer treatments, such as brachytherapy and cryotherapy, pubic arch interference many leave the prostate gland inadequately treated.
